Contributing to CPF
The Commercial Product Framework is open source. In other words, it is freely available to the product community to use. Its content is based on many years of implementation experience. You may have a desire to help improve the community and support this effort. This work is currently voluntary (unpaid). The following roles are available:
Contributor
Do you have significant experience in Product Management and would like to add to the framework? This can include improving major parts or creating new material.
You will be directly credited for work on this website. All work will remain open source as per the Licensing section below.
Reviewer
Do you have significant experience in Product Management and would like to review and provide feedback on the framework?
For large contributions, you will be directly credited for work on this website. All work will remain open source as per the Licensing section below.
Tester
Could you use the CPF and feed back your results and make improvement suggestions? This could be one of the modular tools, such as the competitor analysis canvas. Support and training of new areas are typically available for FREE to ensure success. Reach out if you have an interest in a particular part or even the whole framework.
You will be permitted to publicly state that you have been an official tester of the framework.
